Some of our Pacific Alumni that have move up to higher levels:
Michael Cascioppo,
I started umpiring when I was 11 years old. I have attended a variety of umpire camps that range from Little League, High School, College, and Professional umpiring school.
In 2005 I expanded my horizon and joined Pacific Umpires where I worked four years with Pacific. Working for Pacific has allowed me to spread my name and meet some amazing people.
In my 5th year of work for Pacific, I was selected to work second base for the CIF Division 1 final at Tony Gwynn Stadium. In 2009 I was invited to join the SCCU for Jr College baseball.
I went to professional umpire school in 2008, and 2009. I was hired to work professional baseball in August of 2009.
I worked the Coastal Plain League before being hired by Minor League Baseball. I was selected to work the Coastal Plain League All Star game for the first round of playoffs.
In 2010 I was selected to work the playoffs for the North West League, and worked the plate in the final championship game.
In 2011 I was selected to work second base in the All Star game for the South Atlantic League. I was also selected to be the crew chief for all the playoffs and championship series. I was also selected to work the instructional league in Florida following my 2011 season.
