Pacific Baseball Umpires was created in 2003 in order to provide an organization dedicated to the needs of San Diego baseball umpires. The current board of directors is committed to supporting umpires achieve their personal goals by providing first rate education, evaluation, mentoring, and assigning services. The members of Pacific Baseball Umpires are dedicated to conducting themselves with integrity and the utmost professionalism on and off the field. Pacific Baseball Umpires is a California Nonprofit Mutual Benefit Corporation.

Pacific was accredited by the state CIF office in October 2003 for a period of six years and has a contract with the San Diego Section to provide officials to all North County high schools.

Pacific Baseball Umpires is affiliated with the California Baseball Umpires Association.

Our Mission

The mission of Pacific Baseball Umpires is to be the premier baseball umpire association in Southern California. Pacific Baseball Umpires is dedicated to the sport of baseball and committed to excellence through training and knowledge. We will serve the baseball community with integrity and professionalism. Our members, clients, vendors, and agents will be treated with respect and dignity.

Pacific Baseball Umpires will provide rewarding umpiring opportunities and the camaraderie of fellow umpires. We will develop umpires who aspire to work a broad level of competition from Little League, High School, NCAA Division 1 and Professional baseball. In doing so, each member will be provided the opportunity to better themselves as umpires.
