Pacific Baseball Umpires Uniform Dress Code

All umpires assigned to work a game must dress alike in the approved uniform. The approved uniform is as follows: Hats, black; Shirts, black or cream; T-shirts, black or cream; Belt, black leather; Pants, heather gray; Socks, black; Shoes, black (white trim is permissible on base shoes); Ball Bags, black; Jackets / Plate Coats, black. If the plate umpire wears a jacket or coat, the base umpires will also wear a jacket. Black gloves are permissible in cold weather. Members are encouraged to wear the proper plate shoes and pants when working the plate. U.S. flag patches are permissible on shirts or jackets, but must adhere to the following restrictions: Flags must be 2"x3” with gold border, centered on the back of the shirt or jacket just below the collar.
