HIGH SCHOOL UMPIRES NEEDED

Pacific Baseball Umpires has openings for new and experienced baseball umpires who are interested in becoming CIF certified for the 2011 High School season. Pacific Baseball Umpires will be assigning High School games for the North County Schools. We will provide you with the latest umpiring field mechanics and classroom instruction and assist you to improve in your field mechanics and rules knowledge. The Mission of Pacific Baseball Umpires is to be the premier baseball umpire association in Southern California. Pacific Baseball Umpires is dedicated to the sport of baseball and committed to excellence through training and knowledge. We will serve the baseball community with integrity and professionalism. Our members, clients, vendors and agents will be treated with respect and dignity. Pacific Baseball Umpires will provide rewarding umpiring opportunities and the camaraderie of fellow umpires. We will develop umpires who aspire to work a broad level of competition from Little League through NCAA Division 1 baseball. In doing so, each member will be provided the opportunity to better themselves as umpires.

Training for Baseball Officials

Pacific Baseball Umpires is committed to improving the skills and knowledge of all baseball umpires in Southern California. Starting in January of each year our instructional staff will begin a comprehensive program of classroom and field instruction. Those new to umpiring will be given the tools to begin officiating competently and confidently. Experienced umpires can also benefit from field instruction tailored to improve their skills.

National Federation (High School Rules) will be covered.

Pacific's instructional staff includes NCAA Division I umpires and instructors who are currently working or have worked in professional baseball.
